Marilyn Manson- Cupid Carries A Gun Marilyn Manson has contributed a new song, entitled 'Cupid Carries A Gun', to the soundtrack of drama series Salem. The track will be used during the title sequence of the show and will appear from the second episode of the series, which airs on April 27.

Speaking about the track, which was co-written alongside show composer Tyler Bates, Manson said the following: "The occult and witchcraft is so often used in cinema with a heinous disregard for even researching its origins. I liked the themes of Salem. It looks at the witch trials without being cliché like most modern films." Bates also opened up about the writing of the track, which had previously existed in draft form, stating, "I saw the title sequence and the song immediately came to mind. I showed it to Manson for fun more than anything, and it inspired us to finish the song that night."
